Our Carmoolita, more commonly known as Dulce de Leche, is a rich, pure caramel sauce made in a copper kettle. We start with milk and sugar and cook it down until it caramelizes over a 10 hour period. We add no stabilizers, gum, or preservatives so it's a sweet treat you can feel good about. It goes well with apples, in your morning coffee, makes a creative cocktail or use as a drizzle on your favorite slice of pie. We make it in a traditional variety which has the barest hint of cinnamon and one with real Kentucky Bourbon and Vanillla bean. That's my Milk Jam!
